Abstract:
The blast cleanliness has been upgraded to SSPC SP-10 Near White Blast Cleaning for spot blasting, full removal, and shop blasting of structural steel. The SSPC SP-6 Commercial Blast Cleaning … previosly specified contained a discrepency between itself and the SP-6 pictorial reference standard SSPC VIS 1-89 with regards to condition "A" - tightly adherent millscale. SSPC SP-10 has no such discrepency and provides a cleaner blast.
