The NYS Department of Transportation is implementing Trns*port SiteManager, including both Construction and Materials functionality. Implementation of standard AASHTO software enables SiteManager to allow revising business practices to be more consistent with industry-accepted best practices. The revisions to the Standard Specifications are to conform to SiteManager's methodology in defining its Material Codes and Pay items. The revisions to each of the special specifications listed in the EI includes changing the Materials Section to refer to the appropriate subsections of Section 737 (Geosynthetics).
