This EI issues Standard Specifications Sections 608-3.01, 608-3.02, 608-5.01, and 608-5.02. These changes are made to accommodate the driveway Standard Sheets issued via EB. The specification changes simplify the quantity estimates and construction inspection by clarifying that: Saw cutting and wire fabric reinforcement for concrete sidewalks and driveways are to be bid and paid for under the 608.0101 pay item; Milling, saw cutting, and tack coating for asphalt driveways are to be bid and paid for under the 608.020101 pay item.
